A
- can be a secondary condition to adductor muscle strain
- absence of healing adductor muscle strain
- leading to micro tears in tendon which lead to tissue degeneration

what are they symptoms of adductor tendinopathy
A
- proximal groin pain
- medial groin tightness
- pain more noticeable after sport
- pain persists during activity
- loss of acceleration during running
- loss of max speed in running
- loss of kicking distance

what are the signs for an adductor teninopathy
A
- tenderness over adductor origin and pubic tubercle
- pain on passive hip abduction
- pain on resisted hip adduction

what treatment would you give
A
- relative rest
- avoid aggravating factors
- sport specific exercises
- adductor strengthening
- address risk factors
