What is a strain?
Muscle or tendon damage

Tennis elbow (outside radius)
Golfers’ elbow (inside ulna)
ITBS
Iliotibial band syndrome -> running (repeated flexion, extension) friction at knee articulation (can be near hip)
What type of injury is chronic hard tissue?
Stress fracture (repetitive weight bearing)
Running (tibia, fibula)
Tibia 90% fibula 10% of weight
