From LI 20 it goes to the medial canthus to join UB 1, descends to ST 1, descends to connect with Du 28 and DU 26, circles around the lips and meets with Ren 24, runs across the cheek to ST 5-7, meets GB 3, ascends to ST 8, crossing GB 4-6. Finally, it follows the hairline to meet DU 24
