leisure organisation funded and controlled by the government, non profit making, provide services for the public use eg playgrounds, swimming pools, outdoor pitches.
private sector spec
leisure organisation ran by an individual or a company for profit, privately owned and funded, government does not own or control these. eg gyms
voluntary sector spec
non profit making leisure organisations that rely on fundraising and membership, government does not control them and they are not owned by a business. Often charities, focused on helping people to participate and achieve in certain sports and leisure activities. Volunteers operate and manage them.
