What are the duty period limitations for internal 2 pilot crew operations?

Must not be scheduled to fly more than 8h (8h 30m to complete disrupted schedule).
Must not be rostered more than 35h in 7d, 100h in 28d, 300h 90d (consecutive).
Must not be rostered on duty for more than 11h a day (12h to complete disrupted schedule).

What are the rest requirements for 2 pilot internal operations?

Answer 2

• Flown more than 8h or duty more than 11h in consecutive 24h, on completion of duty requires no less 12h rest including hours between 00-06 or extended to include upto a max 24h period. In addition, for every 15m past 8/11h, 1h rest on top of rest period.
• Flown more than 16h or duty more than 22h in consecutive 48h, on completion of duty a rest period not less than 24h.
• If fly past 8.5h or duty more than 12h, must receive 24 break on completion of duty.
• Every 7d, must have a 24h period free of all duties at home base in addition to any rest period.
• Flown more than 20h or duty more than 29h in consecutive 72h period, on completion of duty a rest period of not less than 24h.

Must not be rostered to fly in excess of 8h or 9h to complete a disrupted schedule.
Must not be rostered to fly in excess of 35h in 7d, 100h in 28d or 250h in 84 days (consecutive).
Must not be rostered for duty for more than 11h or 13h to complete disrupted schedule.

Question 4

What rest periods (due hour requirements) are required for two pilot external operations?

• Flown more than 8h or 11h duty, must receive 12h off including the hours of 00-06 or 14h consecutively off.
• Flown more than 16h or 22h duty in 48h period, must receive not less than 24h off.
• Flown more than 20h or 29h duty in 72h period, must receive not less than 24h off.

Question 5

What rest requirements are there for 2 pilot external operations when pilot is away from home base?

Answer 5

On return to home base, rest period must not be less than double the flying hours of operating as a crew member since leaving home base. When a duty requires a stay in a time zone of greater than 2h, rest period of return home must not be less than 72h.
When a pilot is temporarily detached from home base, and the tour of duty is completed at this place, rest periods apply at this place.
Must have 24h free of all duty in a consecutive 7d period.
When at home base, this recreational period and a rest period must include 2 consecutive nights including the hours of 00-06.
