A
lateral to the inferior epigastric vessels, can be palpated at the deep ring which is halfway between ASIS and pubic tubercule

A
medial to the inferior epigastric vessels, cannot be palpated at the deep ring

after reducing an inguinal hernia, how would you tell if it was direct or indirect?
A
put fingers over deep ring, halfway between ASIS and pubic tubercle and ask pt to cough, if reappears-indirect

A
