What is the purpose of a summary?

A

Creating a summary corresponds to a natural need of the brain to handle expansive and complex texts, so it can manage that material better. Identifying what is important in the text and converting these into a shorter coherent from that our bran handle can HELP IS NAVIGATE THE TEXTS AND RETAIN MORE INFORMATION EFFECTIVELY.

They can also assist in the process of elaborating, storing, and coding the information. In other words, when we summarize material, we end up remembering it better and being able to utilize it more easily.
