Q

What are the anatomical planes?

A
  • axial - divides the body into superior and inferior parts, roughly perpendicular to the spine (CT always acquired axially)
  • sagittal - divides the body into left and right
  • coronal - divides the body into dorsal and ventral sections (front and back)
