But those are a little formal and less intense of a nuance.

After you say 봤자 it’s expected there will be something that doesn’t work out, but to emphasize you can/should use words like
소용없 it won’t help, it’s useless
안 되 won’t work, can’t do it, forget it
시간 낭비예요 waste of time

여기에 있어 봤자 시간 낭비예요.
Even if you stay here, it is a waste of time.

2/2 or can just add a negative phrase using 안 or 못

So a lot of people just drop it and add 이에요/예요 after 봤자

2nd is weird here
