- Asymptomatic - 10-30%
- Profuse, Thin, Vaginal Discharge - Greenish, Frothy and Foul Smelling
- Vulvitis

What is the Epidemiology of Trichomoniasis?

- 100 / Year in Grampian (Uncommon)

What are the Complications of Trichomoniasis?

- Miscarriage

How is Trichomoniasis Diagnosed?
A
- PCR on a Vaginal Swab
- Point of Care - Microscopy of Wet Preparation of Vaginal Discharge
Note - There is no Test for Men

What is the Treatment of Trichomoniasis?
A
Metronidazole (400mg) Per Oral, Bi-Daily for 5 Days
Note - Can be given as a 2g Single Dose
