A

test that does not require for you to reach maximal efforts, no max out. allows to predict. what ur maximal would be.

prob- depends how hard you work and efcfort put in - cannot always be accurate and more accessible. older can perform, mroe ppl are moytivated, higher partcioantce. not as stressful, no time phrame. many peiople can do at once more effcitenc

cons - estimate so hard to set intensivity accuratly, up to the perfromer

A

a test where maximum wffort is put in, one rep max, vo2 max test.

+more accurate results and more specific to training
+ more accurate for comparing trials

  • chance of injury
  • can not repeat in short time phrame
  • easier for yournger audience - less chance of injurt
  • you dont know when theyre maxing themsleves out - bit unreliable
  • less motivation
  • some might not be able to complete the rep
