They are single celled Eucaryotes
They feed of the host causing harm to the host

- Insecticide impregnated insect nets
- Prevent vectors from breeding and burning the larvae

- Anti-malarial drugs which kill the parasites in the blood

2. Parasite reproduces asexually in the liver
3. Parasite moves to red blood cells
Mosquito consumes blood whilst feeding
4. Parasite produces sexually in the mosquito
