5 Star Experience Flashcards
5 star experience intro
No matter who you choose, make sure they are licensed and in insured
In Texas, there is no license requirement for contractors, so you don’t have to know what you’re doing
You can go to bed a bartender, wake up slap a sticker on your truck and become a contractor. And there is no policing on this
Liability, and what Power’s liability is
If the contractor doesn’t have insurance, then all the liability is on the homeowner
At Power, we carry a 5 million dollar insurance policy
This gives you complete piece of mind that no liability falls on you
Any questions on that?
Transition: even if you find someone who is insured, there is no guarantee they get the job done the right way…
Unfortunately, home remodeling is the 2nd most complained about industry after used car sales
I hear crazy stories every day like people drinking/smoking on the job. Saying a project will take 2 weeks and then it takes 2 months. Or worse, they take a down payment and then you never see them again.
Have you/friend/family/neighbor/news/radio ever heard of this happening?
If you don’t mind me asking what happened or what did you hear?
I’m really sorry you had to deal with that
What we have come to realize is most bad experiences come down to lack of care and communication
Transition: Let’s say in a couple of months you are ready to move forward…
- The first thing we do is set you up with an app called Project Pulse
It can be done on any device and you’ll have a whole dashboard for your project with access to all photos/docs/etc
This app keeps you fully informed on where your project is in the pipeline - similar to Uber eats or the dominos tracker if you are familiar
Communication makes for a good experience and Project Pulse makes the communication and experience seamless
- Next step is pre-install inspection
We have a project manager come out to game plan the project, figuring out what tools, styles and crew size they will need
We do this so there are no surprises at install
- Our install team
Is specialized and trained in the Pella method
We are not grabbing day laborers off the street
- How long it will take
Typically, we can do a project of this size in 1 day
In case something comes up, we work on a consecutive day policy
- Clean up and inspection
Once everything is installed, we will show you how to properly operate and clean your new windows
We won’t leave until you are 100% satisfied
Transition: the best way to guarantee that you have a great experience…which is totally unheard of in our industry is…
- That we pay for and install the project with no money down
So you don’t pay a penny until the install is complete, meaning there is no risk to you
That gives you the piece of mind that the job will be done the right way
