Binds to teeth and gums, precipitates and inactivated if swallowed, can’t overdose
What’s the problem with dry kibble?
Doesn’t really need chewing
What’s different in special dental food?
Doesn’t shatter so cleans teeth better
Do you need special food with active home care?
NO!
How does dental food reduce calculus?
Has coating which chelates calcium
Are there any effective treat chews for cats?
No

Pedigree dentaflex
What are the advantages of pedigree dentaflex?
Outperforms dental diet, cleans below gumline
What are the disadvantages of pedigree dentaflex?
Not a complete food, less than 1/4 as effective as brushing
Which toys are best for dental health?
Not hard, should deform if chewed to maximise contact
What toys are dangerous for dental health?
Bones, stones, hooves, nylabones - knock off thick tartar but don’t clean teeth
