How does the stick shaker logic change when the ENG ANTI ICE and WING ANTI ICE is turned on and off?
ENG ANTI ICE: Turned on, stick shaker goes into icing logic, turned off it goes back to normal
WING ANTI ICE: Turned on stick shaker goes into icing logic, turned off it stays in icing logic for the remainder of the flight
What can the TAI light indicate when green/amber
Green: Engine anti ice is selected on, and the valve is open.
Amber: the cowl anti ice valve is not in the position commanded by the switch
What does the amber COWL ANTI ICE light over the engine anti-ice switches indicate?
An overpressure condition in the duct downstream of the cowl valve
Which part of the wing is heated when wing anti-ice is used?
The 3 inboard slats only
Which probes and ports are heated, and which are not?
Pitot, alpha vane, TAT probes. Static ports are not heated
What does an amber illuminated probe heat light signify_
That probe is not being powered/heated
Which probes are heated on standby power?
Captain’s only
The windows heat power test is also called a? Should not be tested when?
Confidence test. All light are green
