What are zero day attacks?
A
They are vulnerabilities that we do not know about in which the bad guys find first and exploit our systems.

What is spoofing?
A
Pretending to be something that you aren’t.
E.g. - MAC address spoofing, IP address spoofing, phone number spoofing

What are dictionary attacks?
A
When people use common words as passwords.

What are rainbow tables?
A
Increases the speed of a brute force attack by saving individual possible passwords as a separate hash and then using deductive logic to find the correct password.

A
When a computer connected to the internet has been compromised and can be used to perform malicious tasks under remote direction.
