Q

How did the First World War and the boom make an impact on women’s lives?

A

First World War: The War allowed women to take over the men’s jobs while they were away fighting. This gave them a sense of independence and no longer did they have to rely on their husband’s wealth.

The Boom: Some that were more privileged had a change but for the vast majority, their lives didn’t change. They were still not equal to men.
