  • ERP use electrodes to process specific voltage changes in brain after stimulus prevent
    1) specific changes in stimuli voltage changes
    2) averaged many responses to this stimulus taken then averaged
    3) filtered out using stat so event related potential which is jus the response is filtered out

  • both cheaper than fmris so can do on large sample sizes which can improve validity
  • EEG high temporal validity than FMRI
