Underpinning this is the use of Information Technology:
Whilst the principle task and responsibilities involve significant levels of interaction with offenders, victims and others, they can also not be performed without undertaking meticulous record keeping, review, and adherence to standards.
Interested candidates do need to be aware that the use of information technology is integral to the Probation Officer role. (Candidates with a disability under the terms of the DDA 1995 – Probation Areas will seek to seek to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that successful candidates can meet the requirements of the job)
