CNS TOXICITY
I’ts produced after an IV administration by mistake or when the abosoption is too fast at the action site. The problem appears because they cross BBB.
They are going to produce high plasma concentration and depression and excitation secondary due to the inhibition of inhibitory pathways, leading to nausea, vomiting, confusion and convulsions.

MOUTH AND TONGUE NUMBESS, ANXIETY, VERBOREA, NYSTAGMMUS AND CONVULSIONS. At T HIGHEST CONCENTRATIONIT LEADS TO RESPIRATORY DEPRESSION THAT CAN PRODUCE DEATH
