Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generations
Natural Capital
Natural resources that can supply a natural income of goods or services
Ecologicial Footprint
The impact of a person on the environment, usually expressed as the amount of land required to sustain their use of natural resources
Natural Income
The yield obtained from natural resources
Biocapacity
The amount of biological resources that a environment can produce in a year
Overshoot
Occurs when the population’s demand on the ecosystem is too high for the ecosystem to sustainable manage
