a worldview that shapes the way people see and evaluate environmental issues
Ecocentric
People who believe that nature is the center of life and that people should become less materialistic, and they also have strong opinions on biorights and education
Anthropocentric
They believe that humans are the most important species and it’s their job to sustainably manage the earth, rely on taxing and regulations
Technocentric
They believe that technological advancements will be the solution to global issues.
Biocentric
those who consider all life to have important value in the world
Deep Ecologist
Extreme ecologists, values humans less than nature, believe that humans much radically change their behaviour in relation to the environment
Soft Ecologists
Usually environmental managers, they share similar ideas with anthropocentrics
Environmental Managers
Believes that economic growth and resource exploitation can continue if adjustments are made to policies
Cornucopian
The belief that the world’s resources are unlimited and are all available for humans to take
