How to set up the air compressor?

A
  1. Cab: Parking brake, neutral, turn on generator (do not put in drive)
  2. CO monitor will countdown from 120 seconds
  3. Fully raise compressor doors (all the way or will not trip sensor) and rear door
  4. Turn on compressor (will not activate if air is above 5500)

How to engage the light tower?

A
  1. Ensure generator is on
  2. Breaker should have been left on, check if light does not come on
  3. On remote control box hold down green power button for approx. 2-3 seconds until it turns on
  4. Check for overhead obstructions
  5. Can raise; push up button twice
  6. Turn lights on

How to disengage the light tower?

A
  1. Turn lights off
  2. Allow time to cool
  3. Lower light tower (To automatically stow the light tower press the down arrow twice)

How to engage/disengage scene lights?

A
  1. Ensure proper breaker/fuse box is on to engage lights
  2. Driver side scene lights switch is overhead in cab
  3. Passenger side scene lights switch is overhead in cab
  4. Rear scene lights switch can be operated from overhead in cab or rear of apparatus
  5. Turn power off at breaker/fuse box

How to Fill SCBA Bottles (DO NOT RELEIVE THE REGULATOR, KEEP AT 4500PSI)? (pt 1)

A
  1. Open bank 1, 2, 3, OR 4 (Only open one bank at a time)
  2. Pressure regulator is to be always left at 4500PSI, DO NOT RELIEVE THE REGULATOR AFTER USE.
  3. Connect SCBA Bottle [Scott SCBA bottles DO NOT open valve on bottle ]
  4. Open fill valve(s) Left/Right for appropriate bottle(s) 1 or 2 until full
  5. Open fill station door Left/Right (notice that we did not close fill valves)

How to Fill SCBA Bottles (DO NOT RELEIVE THE REGULATOR, KEEP AT 4500PSI)? (pt 2)

A
  1. Close fill station valve(s) When done filling all bottles)
  2. (On new, will bleed down automatically) Set inlet pressure regulator back to zero when filling operations are complete
  3. Ensure all valves are closed
  4. Ensure compressor is full prior to shutting down (Compressor will automatically shut down when it reaches 6000psi)

What do I do if I am filling an MSA bottle?

A
  1. If Filling MSA bottles use Adapter (Located Captain front compartment, Tool box)
  2. MSA SCBA bottles need to have valve open and closed when filling
