Why is bringing a 16 foot to the house useful, regardless of what type of house?

1. It can be used to access single story houses
2. It can be used to access 2nd story windows
3. It can be used as a fulcrum in the window for a rescue on first floor
4. Can be used for basement houses (window well or floor collapse)

Question 2

What should I do if the apparatus is not going into pump?

Answer 2

1. If after 5-10 seconds put it into drive with a finger on neutral
2. As soon as I hear grinding hit neutral / or if green light go into drive
3. Switch back to road and go through the process again
   (With limited exp, after putting it in drive and back to neutral, there was no grinding, and the first light went on without going back to road mode)
