How are God and Humans similar ?
They are created in the image of God
Why is Adam created ?
To take care of the Garden of Eden
What rule did god place on them ?
They must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
First rule put on humanity
What did the serpent suggest why God does not allow them to eat the fruit ?
God wants to prevent Adam and Eve from gaining the same knowledge as God.
What is original sin ?
Sin that first entered the world through Adam and Eves disobedience.
What is the fall ?
The end of a perfect relationship with God
What do Christians believe about the fall ?
The fall has affected the entire human race. They believe that everyone is affected
Christians attitude towards the original sin ?
All humans are born out of a relationship with God and in need of his salvation to bring them back into the relationship and unless the price of sin is paid a person has no hope of eternal life in heaven with god
