Pressure Effects on the human body
Variations in atmospheric pressure cause air to get trapped in the ears, teeth, sinus cavities, and gastrointestinal tract these places where air gets trapped can cause pain and discomfort
Pilot Error
Action or decision made by the pilot was the cause of, or contributing factor which lead to an accident
Crew Resource Management (CRM)
Focus of CRM is the effective use of all available resources. CRM encompasses helping human factor principles such as workload management, Situational Awareness, Communication, leadership, and crew member coordination
Aeronautical Decision Making defined
Defining the problem with all senses, insight, and experience. Determining the nature and severity of the problem. Reacting to it and determining the actions. Finally resolving the situation
Pilot in Command Responsibility
PIC has ultimate responsibility as decision maker responsible for safety and the responsibility of others lives
What affects your ability to perform during a flight
Health, Stress, Fatigue, Knowledge, Skill level, proficiency, and experience
Attitudes that affect your flight and Cures to attitudes
Anti-Authority, Impulsivity, Invulnerability, Macho, and Resignation
Spot the attitude and cure it before things get worse.
Follow the rules they’re probably right

Communication
