Arguments for women having the vote:
Women pay taxes just like men

Why and when were the Suffragetes formed?
Between 1903-1905 by Emmeline Pankhurst. They resorted to more violent methods as the Suffragists got nowhere. Their motto was “deeds not words”
When did (basically) all women get the vote?
1928 all women over 21 got the vote.
What happened during WW1?
The suffragists temporarily called off their campaign to help the war effort.
What happended after WW1?
Women over 30 in 1918 got the right to vote.
What was the 1965 race relations act?
It made discrimination illegal on the grounds of colour, race, ethnicity or origin. But only enforced in public.
