John snow did reserch on the cest pits and he found out that chadwick was right the theroy of miasma was wrong and it was the bad sanitary conditions which made people die
Why were cest pits not emptyed regulagly
People didnt own horses and carges and it was a smelly job so not many people wanted to empty them

- More food was produced by farmers, supporting a larger population
- Education was improved so kids knew how to lead a better life
- Factories needed workers so people had children so they could work and provide for the family

Slums were groups of people living in small areas
