Q

What must there be for circular motion to occur?

A

As there is acceleration, there must be a resultant centripetal force. The sum of all forces acting on the body= centripetal force.

Q

What is centripetal acceleration?

A

The acceleration of an object in circular motion. Any object in circular motion must be accelerating as its direction, and therefore velocity, is changing
