What is the vacuum tube for?
In a x ray tube, there are electrodes that are cathode’s and anodes, once we get electricity to the cathode’s the electrons will be accelerated to the anode, and that is what the vacuum is for, that while that acceleration is happening the vacuum tube won’t let anything interrupt it, it basically contains the acceleration, ensuring that no other substance will disturb the process
