quarter drape from pubis to xiphoid with teats draped out
where are the locations for your incision site in small animals?
caudal abdomen - umbilicus to pubis
adult dog - cranial 3rd
cat, kitten, & puppy - middle 3rd/caudal 3rd
why may it be beneficial to use the spay hook on the right side of the animal first?
avoid the spleen - can potentially cause bleeding from hitting the spleen
