pyoderma or other trauma of scrotal tissue pre-op
known unsanitary environment post-op
why not fully close the incision in a scrotal neuter?
causes discomfort, seroma/hematoma, & self-trauma
what is closure like for cat castration?
incision is left open to heal from second intention
