The number of pages scare us. You freeze at the weight of having to fill up so much empty space.
Page Fright
When it’s a writing class and what comes into your mind is “Oh no, it’s blank.”
The fact that the page is empty intimidates you and you proceed to panic about what to do.
Fear of the Blank Sheet
Writing without inspiration. You may have so many ideas in mind but you are not inspired. You have no driving force.
Writing with a muse is the drive and inspiration to finish writing something.

You may know what to write, you may have ideas, you may have prepared, but getting started is another point.
How do I begin?
I may know what to write, I may be inspired, but to write is another story.
Inability to Get Things Started
“I can do it, yes I can!”
Makes you believe that you can do it and motivates you.
Positive self-talk
Remind yourself of what you have accomplished in the past.
Allows you to realize that you have done much more than just writing and this motivates you to continue or start writing.
Listing your achievements
Think of relevant ideas.
Allows yourself to be inspired and motivated by the things you see.
Let your brain work and write about your ideas. Let ideas flow.

Do not entertain the feeling of not wanting to write
Accept that you have to accomplish it. You have no choice but to finish this so think of ways how.

Best ideas come when the mind is rested.
Do not think of it as a task all the time. Make it a habit to read during break time.
When you read, you learn and you will have something to write about. The best ideas come into mind when you are relaxed.

○ Making a schedule. If you know your routine or schedule, you will try to avoid other tasks that you have to do at that time.

○ Show up and just be there,
you made a commitment to something so you have to stick to it.
Show up for work
● Do not think that what you have written is bad; writing is a process that involves editing and revising until the output becomes good.
Cope with badness
● Create an environment conducive for writing.
○ Up to you. Do something that will make writing comfortable for you.
Reinvent your space
● Ask yourself the purpose as to why you are writing.
○ Give yourself purpose.
