B1: by the early 1900’s, many peoples attitude towards women were beginning to change, many laws reflected in new job opportunities, including jobs and education.
B2: during the 1800’s women gained more rights such as: Infant Custody Act 1873, which gave women the chance to keep custody of children after divorce.
F: as women gained more rights in society, this made it more likely that they would gain the right to vote in national elections
A: however, many men resented the idea of women getting the right to vote and there growing influence, they even had anti-women suffrage groups - leading them to argue that women did not need any more powers or rights.
