Q

Precautions during TO?

A

Use Full Rated thrust
Flaps 5/10/15
Longest RW (clear of WS)
Increase Vr speed to performance limited gross weight rotation speed, not to exceed actual gross weight Vr+20. Set V-speeds for for actual gross weight, but rotate at higher Vr.
INcreased rotation speed results in increased stall margin and meets TO perf.If WS at/beyond actual GW Vr, don’t accelerate to increased Vr, but rotate without hesitation.
Be alert for speed fluctuations on TO and initial climb.
Know all engine climb pitch attitude.
Rotate normal rate.
Crew coordination/awareness.
Develop awareness for normal values of speed, attitude, vertical speed, airspeed buildup.
Speed fall below trimmed speed - unusual column forces required. Dont exceed PLI.

Q

App and Land

A

F30 - Stable at 1000ft - improve WS recognition.
Suitable RW that avoids WS.
A/T disengaged/planned to be disengaged airspeed correction Max 15kts.
avoid large thrust reduction or trim changes in response to sudden airspeed increase, as it might follow with decrease.
Crosscheck flight director commands
