Why we do this?
A
When doing NO engine bleed takeoff or landing and the APU INOP, or the operative but NOT providing bleed air.

Pack - auto
Isolation Valve - close
Engine Bleed - off
Apu bleed - off

After TO
..
Min 400ft, max 2000ft
Engine nr 2 Bleed ON, when cabin ROC indicator stabilizes, Engine nr 1 bleed on, isolation valve switch AUTO.

Explain Proc for LANDING
A
Below 10000ft, and starting turn to final app:
Engine bleed air switches OFF
Avoid high rates of descent for pax comfort.

Engine failure?
A
Don’t position engine BLEED air switches to ON until 1500ft, or until obstacle clearance height been reached.
