Structure may be deemed ‘hopeless’ when 1 of the following occur:

• 25% or more of roof involved
• Water supply low
• Personnel safety at risk

Structural Protection:

• 15 min commitment
• 1 unit per structure in isolated areas
• 1 unit per 2 structures in subdivisions
• Limit hose lay to 200’

Fire is considered contained when 100% extinguishment within 100’ of fire lines

Drought Index of 400 or higher, fire needs checking daily till cold

Establish on ALL wild land fires

• Lookouts
• Communications
• Escape Routes
• Safety Zones

*Maintain 25% of booster tank water level for protection
