Establishing Command

The First arriving unit may establish Command
Person in charge of unit shall be/act as IC until:
- Properly relieved by an Officer or Chief
OR
- Incident Terminated

Question 2

Assuming Command

Answer 2

Officer of First Arriving company shall assume Command:
- Unit that established Command has no Company Officer (Tanker/Brush Truck)
AND
- A District Chief is not yet on scene

*The First arriving Suppression District Chief shall assume Command upon arrival
