Engine Fire on Ground

- Condition Lever - FUEL CUTOFF

- Starter Switch - STARTER ONLY
- Fire Ext (if warning persists) - ACTUATE
Emergency engine shutdown on ground
- Condition Levers - FUEL CUTOFF
- Prop levers - FEATHER
- Firewall Fuel Valves - CLOSE
- Master Switch (gang bar) - OFF
- Battery Bus - EMERG OFF
- ESIS Power - OFF
Engine Failure During Takeoff (at or below V1) - Takeoff Aborted
- Power Levers - GROUND FINE
2. Brakes - MAXIMUM
Engine failure during takeoff (at or ABOVE V1) - Takeoff Continued
- Vr - ROTATE TO APPROX 10 DEGREES PITCH UP
- Landing Gear (when positive climb established - UP
- Airspeed - MAINTAIN V2 to 400 ft AGL
- Propeller (inop engine) - VERIFY FEATHERED
Engine Failure in Flight Below air minimum control speed (Vmca)
- Power - REDUCE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL
2. Nose - LOWER TO ACCELERATE ABOVE Vmca
Electrical smoke or fire
- Oxygen Mask - DON
- Mask selector switch - EMERG
- Mic Switches - OXY
Environmental smoke or fumes
- Oxygen Masks - DON
- Mask selector switch - EMERG
- Mic Switches - OXY
Airstair door/cargo door unlocked
DOOR UNLOCKED - Illuminated
- All Occupants - SEATED WITH SEAT BELTS SECURELY FASTENED
Emergency Descent
- Power Levers - IDLE
- Prop Levers - FULL FORWARD
- Flaps (202 kts max) - APPROACH
- Landing Gear (184 kts max) - DOWN
5 Airspeed - 184 KNOTS MAX
Glide
- Landing Gear - UP
- Flaps - UP
WARNING - Do not feather 2nd engine propeller if a No Starter Assist Air Start is to be conducted
- Prop Levers - FEATHERED
- Airspeed - 135 kts
Dual Generator Failure
L DC GEN & R DC GEN - Illuminated
- Instrument emergency lights (if required) - ON
- Generators - RESET, then ON
If either generator will reset:
3. Operating Generator Loadeter - MONITOR
If neither generator will reset:
4. ECS Mode - OFF
5 Cockpit/Cabin Blower - AUTO
6 Non-essential Equipment - OFF
Use of Oxygen
- Oxygen Masks - DON
2. Mic switches - OXY
Pressurization Loss
CABIN ALT HI - Illuminated
- Oxygen Masks - DON
- Mic switches - OXY
- Passenger Manual Drop Out - PULL ON
- Descend - AS REQUIRED
High Differential Pressure
CABIN DIFF HI - Illuminated
- Bleed Air Valves - ENVIR OFF
- Oxygen (crew & pax) - AS REQUIRED
- Descend - AS REQUIRED
Auto deployment Oxygen System failure -
CABIN ALT HI - Illuminated
PASS OXYGEN ON - Extinguished
- Passenger Manual Drop Out - PULL ON
Bleed Air Fail
L BLEED FAIL or R BLEED FAIL Illuminated
- Bleed Air Valve (affected engine) PNEU & ENVIR OFF
Spins
- Control Column - FULL FORWARD, AILERONS NEUTRAL
- Full Rudder - OPPOSITE THE DIRECTION OF SPIN
- Power Levers - IDLE
- Rudder - NEUTRALIZE WHEN ROTATION STOPS
- Execute a smooth pullout
Unscheduled Electric Pitch trim activation
- Airplane Attitude - MAINTAIN USING ELEVATOR CONTROL
2. AP/Trim Disconnect - DEPRESS FULLY & HOLD
Unscheduled Rudder Boost Activation
- AP/Trim Disconnect - DEPRESS TO 1st LEVEL AND HOLD
- Rudder Boost - OFF
If Condition Persists:
- YD/AP DISC (on Flight Guidance Panel) - PULL DOWN
Autopilot Failure - Autopilot Mistrim
If a mistrim indication continues for more than a few seconds
- Flight Controls - HOLD FIRMLY
- AP - DISENGAGE
Autopilot Failure - Autopilot Trim Fail
- Flight Controls - HOLD FIRMLY
2. AP - DISENGAGE
Autopilot Failure - Autopilot Automatic Disengagement
If an automatic disengagement occurs:
- Maintain Airplane Control
- AP/TRIM Disconnect - DEPRESS TO 1st LEVEL TO CANCEL HORN
Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS)
- Wings - LEVEL
- Power - MAX ALLOWABLE
- Pitch - INCREASE
- –Promptly and smoothly increase pitch towards an initial pitch attitude of 20 to 25 degrees
- –Adjust as required to avoid continuous buffeting and/or stall warning
- –Adjust to maintain 125 kts - Gear and Flaps - UP
Terrain awareness and warning system plus (TAWS+)
- Autopilot - DISCONNECT
- Wings - LEVEL
- Power - MAX ALLOWABLE
- Pitch - INCREASE
- –Promptly and smoothly increase pitch towards an initial pitch attitude of 20 to 25 degrees
- –Adjust as required to avoid continuous buffeting and/or stall warning
- –Adjust to maintain 125 kts - Gear and Flaps - UP
