Liquids have more space between each particle than solids which results in quicker diffusion.
Which is faster, gas or liquid diffusion and why?
Gas because the particles are further apart meaning more available spaces to be filled
Why does diffusion in a hot liquid take place faster than in a cold one?
Because the heat gives the particles more energy to move
