ambulance commander and health commander forward supervisor communication role- on site triage officer transport officer

Primarily- ambulances

all dependent on size, location, recourses avalible, servrity of paitents
what does the concept of sectorisation refer to in major incidents?
where a scene/incident is spread over a large area and there may be need for seperate set ups with each requiring all of the roles
why would paitent be required to be managed on scene rather than quickly transporting?
Not to set up feild hospital however if there is a large scene and need for more resources, treatment might start at the casulty triage point.
what is the primary role of the saftey officer?
overss saftey from the overall scene and also paitent managment and OHS issue

providing regualr sitreps

chemical and biological and radiological responses
what are the three level of specalised PPE equipment?
A- fully encapsulated gaslught chemical suits with self-contained breathing apparatus
B- chemical splash suits with SCUBA
Level C- chemical splash suits with positive pressure battery powered respirators
what can police deal with in a major incident?
incident control, traffic, people managment, crime scene managment
what will fire services do at a major incident?
fire supression and prevention, chemical biological and radiological controls
what do rescue services do at a major incident?
saftey and paitent extraction
what might armed forces help to deal with at a major incident?
self-contained: do not add to burden on support agencies
scale must be sufficently large or involve military
