A
“Hard skin”, chronic, thickening of the skin

- Primary happens on previously unaltered skin
- Secondary occurs over time due to factors like itching/scratching

-Corner of the eye to the lobule of the ear

Describe the differences between furuncles and carbuncles.
A
- Furuncle = Fluctuant, deep
- Carbuncle = accumulation of infected follicles (think a bunch of follicles got into a CAR)
