  • Benign tumour of the smooth muscle occuring in myometrium of uterus
  • Afro-carribean
  • Increased BS to uterus

  • Absent ovaries
  • Primary ovarian failure pre-menarche
  • Excess prolactin (shuts down HPO axis)
