Interventions for Diaper Dermatitis
Change diaper frequently, exposure to air as much as possible, use super absorbent diapers, barrier cream with zinc oxide.

DO NOT share hats, combs, jackets
When is Head lice often seen?
Fall and winter
Treatment for Pediculosis Capitis
1% Permetherin Shampoo (Lice Shampoo). Fine tooth comb (Need to remove louse/bugs/nits)
Spinosad 0.9% (4 years and older)
Benzyl alcohol 5% (infants 6 months and older)
Malathion 0>5% difficult cases

Treatment for Seborrehic Dermatitis
Daily Shampoo with Anti-seborrehic shampoo. Use fine tooth comb to get rid of crusts.
What can assist in the removal of seborrehic dermatitis crusts?
Baby oil, Olive oil, Vegetable oil.
What is the first vital sign you should take on an infant? Why?
Respirations because stress can cause an increased rate. (Remember it is normal to have 5-10 sec pauses between respirations)
What can increase Heart rate ?
Stress, Fever, Anxiety, Dehydration.
How should a proper bicycle helmet fit?
1) Snug around the head. 2) Just above the eyebrow. 3) Parallel to the ground (not tilted)
How to determine the proper size of a bike
The child should be able to place the ball of their feet on the ground while still sitting on the bike seat.
Bicycle safety considerations
Ride with traffic, in a single file line. Ride as close to the curb as you can. DO NOT wear flip flops/sandals. Wear closed toed shoes. Ensure the bike is the right size. * ALL ABOUT SAFETY TO RIDER*

1) DO NOT leave loaded. 2) Keep ammo and gun stored separately. 3) Always keep locked up and away from children
