Kotter and Schlesinger (1979)said :
There are many factors that can cause people to resist change in the workplace. Including:
Self interest - thus is where the person is interested with personal concerns rather than the needs of the organisation
Misunderstanding

Good manager should take note of personal circumstances that can cause opposition to the change. Though you can never please all the people all of the time, so doing the right thing is important
