A

God permitted the fall, purposed to order it to his own glory.

A

Adam is the root of all mankind, our first parent, and the federal head of humanity.

What are the consequences of the fall?

A

Mankind fell into an estate of sin and misery. The sin including Adam’s guilt, want of original righteousness, and the miseries including the loss of communion with God, miseries in this life, death, and the pains of hell forever.
