1 or #2 ENG OIL PRESS warning
Indication of Low Oil Pressure (below 55 psi) on respective engine.
Memory Action: Oil Pressure- Check and Monitor Power Lever-Flight Idle Condition Lever-Start and Feather Alternate Feather-Feather
CHECK FIRE DET warning
CHECK FIRE DET is a warning of either an engine or APU fire. It can also be just a fault in the engine detector loop. Comes on during fire test as well and one of the indicators of an engine fire.
MAIN BAT HOT warning
Main battery temperature is over 65 degrees C

L 26 AC Caution Lights
Power is lost on left 26V AC Bus with possible loss of Left 115V AC Bus
R 26 AC Caution Light
Power is lost on right 26V AC Bus with possible loss of Right 115V AC Bus
If PRI INV, SEC INV, AUX INV, L26 AC and R 26 AC caution lights have illuminated? What has happened?
A multiple inverter failure has occurred. Possible loss of all primary avionics could be lost.
If the Propeller Ground Range Lights begin cycling in flight, what does this mean?
Propeller Ground Range lights cycling is an indication that the propeller is attempting to enter ground Beta. The PCU and Beta Backup unit will work to keep the prop out of Beta. Keep power levers above flight idle.
1 or #2 Engine Manual Caution Lights.
Illumination of the ENG MANUAL caution lights means an ECU has failed or has been deactivated. Loss of refined fuel scheduling means the torque on affected engine will rise 10%, HBOV control will be lost and that prop underspeed protection will be lost.
RUD FULL PRESS Caution Light
Either rudder actuator has depressurized and the remaining actuator is receiving full 3000 psi pressure. Do not exceed 200 KIAS.
1 or #2 RUD HYD Caution light.
Illumination of either RUD HYD Caution light indicates the respective actuator has dropped below 600 psi.
Illumination of the #1 or #2 RUD HYD Caution Light will also illuminate two more lights?
Failure of a rudder actuator(RUD HYD) will also illuminate the RUD PRESS and RUD FULL PRESS Caution lights. The RUD FULL PRESS will come on because the remaining actuator will be receiving full pressure. If speed exceeds 140 or 150 KIAS, the RUD PRESS Caution will also illuminate because the logic will not change the pressure to match the flight condition.
RUD PRESS Caution Light
1 or #2 actuator did not decrease pressure with speed. Pressure should change from 1500 psi to 900 psi above 140- 150 KIAS. Will also illuminate with RUD HYD and RUD FULL PRESS.
RUD 1 PUSH OFF or RUD 2 PUSH OFF
Illumination of switchlight and pressing the switchlight will depressurize the respective rudder actuator. RUD PRESS, respective RUD HYD lights, and if speed exceeds 140 knots, the RUD PRESS light will also illuminate.
SPLR 1 or SPLR 2 PUSH OFF switchlights
Illumination of spoiler lights means a roll spoiler or its linkage has jammed.
ROLL SPLR OUTBD HYD Caution
Outboard roll spoilers extension circuit depressurized.
ROLL SPLR INBD HYD Caution Light
Inboard roll spoiler extension circuit has depressurized.
ROLL SPLR INBD and ROLL SPLR OUTBD Caution together?
Illumination of both spoiler caution lights means the roll spoiler cable has failed. ROLL SPLR outboard will not illuminate unless below 135 KIAS.
FLAP POWER Caution
Power(pressure) at the flap drive unit is lost. Operating flaps with #1 Standby Hyd pump will cause this light to illuminate.
FLAP DRIVE caution
Main flap drive has failed. Secondary flap drive operates automatically.
1 or #2 FUEL FILTER BYPASS Caution
Fuel filter restricted or blocked. Fuel will bypass the filter but engine indications may fluctuate due to debris entering engine. Shut down not required unless operation of engine is severely erratic.
1 or #2 ENG FUEL PRESS Caution
Boost ejector pump pressure is low.
1 or #2 TANK FUEL LOW Caution
Less than 130 lbs fuel in collector tank
FUELING ON caution is normal during fueling. However, if the light is still on and you take-off, what problem could occur?
If the REFUEL/DEFUEL switch on the Fueling Panel is left on, you will not be able to transfer fuel in flight.
What if the fuel transfer lights do not illuminate during transfer?
Either the light bulb had burned out, the transfer valve did not open or the pump did not activate.
NOSE STEERING Caution
Either the nose wheel steering is in free caster mode after exceeding 60 degrees or the ECU has failed.
INBD or OUTBD ANTI SKID Caution light
Respective Anti Skid Unit has failed. No anti skid will be available.
LDG GEAR INOP Caution
Landing gear door sequence valve relay has failed.
If the green indicator lights fail to illuminate during gear extension, how can we determine if the gear is down and locked?
Using the alternate extension door in the floor, check the indicator lights in this panel. Alternately, test the anti-skid system.
WT ON WHEELS Caution
WOW sensor has failed or is receiving improper information. No crew action, however gear will not retract.
What if the GEAR DOOR open light(s) illuminate in flight?
Means a gear door is either extended (or now missing). Slow to 140.
1 ENG HYD PUMP Caution
1 main hydraulic pressure is low. Can be caused by failed pump or low fluid quantity.
During a #1 hyd pump failure, what will happen to the services on #1 hydraulic system?
If the following are not lost, they will work slowly
FARPIN
1 ENG HYD PUMP has failed. the standby pump will do the work (if there is fluid). What might happen when selecting a service off the #1 hydraulic system during standby operation?
If service is still available, the service will function slowly. Also, the demand on the system will cause additional caution lights. Example: Running flaps wlll cause FLAP POWER to illuminate since the demand is causing a pressure drop. That drop may also turn on other lights turn on during service.
2 ENG HYD PUMP Caution
2 Engine driven Hyd Pump has failed or fluid is low.
What functions off the #2 hyd system?
LOSER
If #1 and #2 hydraulic systems fail, what service on the #2 hydraulic system will function?
A loss of of total hydraulic systems will still allow the ARP to function, allowing for #2 rudder system to function.
1 or #2 HYD FLUID HOT Caution
Respective caution light illumination means the fluid is hot. Monitor quantity and pressure.
1 or #2 STBY HYD PUMP HOT Caution
Respective pump has overheated. If pump cools, light will extinguish.
1 HYDRAULIC FLUID QUANTITY LOW
1 system quantity is less than 1.5 quarts.
2 HYDRAULIC FLUID QUANTITY
2 system quantity is less than 3.0 quarts.
Using ______ ________ hydraulic fluid can be moved from one hydraulic system to the other.
Using fluid migration hydraulic fluid can be moved from one hydraulic system to the other.
PITOT HEAT #1 or #2 Caution in flight during icing.
Pitot heat has failed (or switch turned off)
R WSHLD HOT or L WSHLD HOT Caution
Associated windshield overheated. Normal temperature sensor or normal temperature controls
1 STALL SYS FAIL or #2 STALL SYS FAIL AND PUSHER SYS FAIL Caution
Associated stall warning computer has failed.
PUSHER SYST FAIL Caution
Pusher System has failed
1or #2 Bleed Hot Caution
Bleed air supply duct temperature exceeds limits.
1 AND #2 Bleed Hot Caution illuminated.
If BOTH BLEED HOT Cautions illuminate, the aircraft could depressurize.
FLT COMPT DUCT HOT or CABIN DUCT HOT
Means respective duct has overheated.
CABIN PACK HOT Caution
PACK has overheated. Engine bleed air is shut off to allow PACK to cool.
