Q

The ECU (EEC) main function is to refine fuel scheduling. What if it fails?

A

Fuel schedule refining will be lost, torque will increase 8-10% on the affected engine. Also, HBOV and propeller underspeed protection will be lost.

Q

Three parts of the fuel tanks?

A

Main tank- Scavenge/Ejector pumps and swing check valves deliver from the main tank to collector tank.
Collector Bay- Fuel goes directly to engine driven pump from here.
Surge tank- Allows overflow through NACA ducts in case of overfueling. Also allows fuel tanks to pressurize during flight.
