- Continuous, C-shaped line that extends from the talus to the sustentaculum tali.
- Lateral view
- Indicative of tarsal coalition.

What is the difference between uni, bi, and trimalleolar fractures?
A
- Uni = One malleolus
- Bi = Both malleolus
- Tri = Both malleolus and posterior rim of tibia

What are the Ottowa Ankle Rules? (2)
A
Malleolar Zone
- Tenderness at medial malleolus
- Tenderness at lateral malleolus
- Inability to bear weight immediately and in the ED for 4 steps
Midfoot Zone
- -Tenderness at base of 5th metatarsal
- Tenderness at navicular
- Inability to bear weight immediately and in the ED for 4 steps
ACR includes tenderness at talus and calcaneus
