Q
  • What is Shenton’s Line?
  • What is Iliofemoral Line?
  • What is the Femoral Neck Angle?
A
  • Shenton’s Line = curved line drawn along the inferior border of the superior pubic ramus (superior border of the obturator foramen) and along the inferomedial border of the neck of femur. This line should be continuous and smooth.
  • Iliofemoral Line = Curvilinear line, along the outer surface of the ilium, through the superior acetabular rim and the femoral neck.
  • Femoral Neck Angle = Angle between the longitudinal femoral shaft axis and the femoral head-neck axis.
